It’s at a high place, about 3,800 meters above sea level, and takes you through amazing landscapes, calm Eco trails, dense forests of rhododendrons, and some uphill climbs that really get your energy going. You may feel a deep connection with the unspoiled beauty of the Annapurna region on this excursion. Long-term residents of the Kori region are from the Ghale and Gurung communities; they practise Buddhism and Bon Po, which offers a fascinating cultural diversity to the walk.
One of the best parts of the trek is when you reach Kori Danda. From there, you can see a breathtaking view of huge peaks like Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, Machhapuchare (Mount Fishtail), and Manaslu Himal. With the Himalayan wilderness as a backdrop, these breathtaking views will remain with you as unforgettable memories.
During the whole trek, you’ll be walking on different kinds of paths – some going up, some going down, and through thick jungles. The Kori Trek is mainly a camping tent trek, which means you get a real experience of the Annapurna region’s natural beauty without a lot of modern stuff around. You will witness and engage in the cultural traditions of the region, which include their friendly greetings, distinctive customs, and various languages that narrate a vivid tale of the region’s past.
Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival, our team will pick you up from Tribhuwan Airport in Kathmandu and will drop you in the hotel. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Half- day sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will leave for Kathmandu sightseeing. You will explore Bouddha and Pashupatinath the heritage site listed in UNESCO world heritage site. Later, you will have a briefing about your program. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3
Drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast, we will leave for Pokhara. It will take around 6-8 hours to reach there, the starting point of your adventure.

Day 4
Drive to Sikles
After having breakfast, you will take a 3-hour drive from Pokhara to Sikles. Explore the beautiful Gurung Village of Sikles, engaging yourself in indigenous culture and hospitality.

Day 5
Trek to Kori Base Camp
Begin your trek to Kori Base Camp, situated at an altitude of 3,800 meters. Traverse through dense rhododendron forests, challenging ascents, and lush green pastures. Experience the unique cultural diversity of the Gurung and Ghale communities.

Day 6
Explore Dudh Pokhari- the holy lake
You will discover alternative routes leading to Syange, encountering the sacred Dudh Pokhari Lake. Marvel as its spiritual significance, especially during the Janaipurnima festival in September.

Day 7
View from Kori Danda
Witness the breathtaking panorama from Kori Danda, including Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, Machhapuchare, and Manaslu Himal. Descend and return through diverse trails and terrains.

Day 8
Back to Pokhara
Conclude your Kori Trek adventure with a drive back to Pokhara. Depart with cherished memories of untouched beauty and cultural richness. Half- day sightseeing in Pokhara and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 9
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will drive from Pokhara hotel to transfer to Pokhara airport and drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Departure
After breakfast, you will have a free day for some shopping, as per your flight schedules three hours before your flight our representative will transfer to the airport from where you will safely fly to your home country.
