The climb to Naya Kanga Peak typically takes around 16-18 days, including trekking through scenic valleys, forests, and traditional villages before reaching the mountain’s base camp.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 m/ 4,264 ft)
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, we will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and start a day with full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the old palace square. Next we will proceed to Swayambhunath temple- one of the oldest Buddhist Shrines We will then processed to Visit Pashupatinath- the holiest Hindu temple and Boudhanath- one of the biggest and holiest stupa. After spending the early hours, we’ll move towards Bhaktapur and Patan where you can explore living museum and palaces. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 3
Kathmandu to Dhunche 150km (2,030m) - 6/7 hours
Early morning we’ll drive to Dhunche which is approximately 6-7 hours from Kathmandu. On the way you can see beautiful snow scapped Mountains along with Langtang Himalaya .We will be staying at Lodge

Day 4
Dhunche to Thulo Syabru- (2,200m) 5-6 hours
Early in the morning after breakfast trail slightly goes pairo landslide and leads you to Thulo Syabru- beautiful Sherpa and Tamang village from where you can observe the miraculous vista of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 5
Thulo Syabru- Lama hotel - (2,410m) 6/7 hours
Early morning after breakfast in Thulo Syabru village the trail crosses through Bhotekoshi and then goes up to Bamboo passing through a big landslide. We will then heads to the lama hotel. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 6
Lama Hotel to Langtang- (3,330m) 5 ½ hours
Today we continue climbing glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela (3.000 m. ), the trail emerges from the forest and continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestocks to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. There is a monastery where we will stop, before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and the villages around are still made on the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley. Day 7
Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa-(3,730m) 4 ½ hours
Trek from Langtang we’ll head towards the Kyanjin Gompa it takes only the morning walking through tiny villages to uphill Kyanjin Gompa where you will see joyful Buddhist monasteries, several accommodations and two great cheese factories . You can see the mountains scenery over the Langtang Himalaya of Nepal. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 8
Kyangjin Gompa – Rest Day
After few hours walking, you may rest or explore the valley and riverbeds around Kyanjin Gompa. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 9
Kyangjin Gompa –Nyengang Kharka -(4,430m) 5/6 hours
After descending for about twenty minutes you cross a bridge over Langtang Khola and then the trail moves uphill to Nyengang Kharka. On both sides of your path you find juniper shrubs and there will be great views of Langtang Lirung and its' glacier. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 10
Nyengang Kharka-Naya Kang High Camp (4,960m) 4/5 hours
The route today is quite steep taking you up to Naya Khang High Camp, and the views today will be of Langtang Lirung, Tserko RI, Ganchenpo peak, Kibgyu RI and Yansi Tsenji peak. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 11
Rest at NayaKang High Camp
Rest at Naya Kang High Camp. This is an acclimatization and preparation day for going to Naya Kang summit.

Day 12
Climb Naya Kang Peak (5,846m) and Back to Base camp and Trek Down to Kyangjing Gompa 4/5 hours
We’ll return to Nyengang Kharka .This will be a long day as you climb to the summit of Naya Kang peak and return back to Nyengang Kharka .We’ll then continue down crossing the Langtang Khola river to reach Kyangjin Gompa. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 13
Trek down to Lama Hotel - (2,410m) 6/7 hours
After breakfast, we will trek down to lama hotel. We will be staying at Lama Hotel.

Day 14
Lama hotel- Syabru besi (1,460m) 6/7 hours
From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail descends steeply to Syabru Besi. The main inhabitants belong to Tamang cast. We will be staying at Lodge

Day 15
Syabru besi to Kathmandu (1,70km) 7/8 hours
Early morning after breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free so you can go for shopping. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination
