Trip Overview
Himchuli is a stunning mountain peak situated in the Annapurna region of Nepal, towering at an impressive altitude of 6,441 meters (21,132 feet). It is a difficult climb that demands prior mountaineering experience and excellent physical fitness.
To conquer Himchuli, climbers need to prepare for 20-25 days, including acclimatization and preparation time. The journey involves traversing lush forests, traditional villages, and beautiful valleys before finally reaching the mountain’s base camp.
The climb to the summit is technically challenging and requires scaling steep rock faces and navigating icy terrain. It is therefore recommended that climbers possess previous mountaineering experience.
Despite the challenges, the climb to Himchuli offers awe-inspiring views of the Annapurna range and the chance to challenge oneself in a spectacular and remote environment.
Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the Airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, we will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 2
Drive/ Fly to Pokhara (915 m)
Early morning after breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara which will takes approximately for 5- 6 hours or you can also fly to Pokhara which takes 25 minutes. We will descend to Trisuli river followed by Marsyangdi River and we pass through terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti river which will take you to Pokhara. Pokhara lies in 200 km west of Kathmandu. It is also known as City of lakes and caves. Finally we will reach to Pokhara late afternoon so you can visit Phewa lake side in the evening. We will be staying at Pokhara.

Day 3
Trek from Pokhara to Nayapul (1050 m)
On this day we will drive for one and half hours and we begin our trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga via Birethanti. We will pass through small villages where majority people are Gurung.

Day 4
Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m)
Early morning after breakfast, we will pass through Ulleri and Magar villages. On the way you can see views of Machhapuchhre, Himchuli and Annapurna. You can also see rhododendron, wild life such as monkeys and various species of birds. We will reach Ghorepani. We will be staying at Ghorepani.

Day 5
Trek from Ghorepani to Poonhill (3180m) to Tadapani (2675 m)
Today we will trek to Poonhill. On the way you can enjoy the views of Sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Mt. Annapurna and many more other peaks. We will continue our trek for one hour and reach Deurali and trail follows through deep forests all the way to Banthati. From here we will trek for one hour and we reach Tadapani- small village surrounded by the beautiful forests with the views of many Himalayas. On the way you can see rhododendron, bamboos and waterfalls. We will be staying at Tadapani.

Day 6
Trek from Tadapani (2675 m) to Ghandruk (1950)
Today we will trek to Ghandruk. We will pass through all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You also could hear different kind of birds chirping. You can also see the village of Gurung and handicraft center. From this village you can see good views of Annapurna, Himchuli and many other peaks. We will be staying at Ghandruk.

Day 7
Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrung (2040 m)
We will trek to Chhomrung from Ghandruk and descend to the Kimron Khola. After one hour we will ascend to the final camp. Chhomrung is a gateway to Annapurna sanctuary trek and inhabited by Gurung. We will be staying at Chhomrung.

Day 8
Chhomrung to Bamboo (2340 m)
Today we will cross Chhomrung Khola via suspension bridge and we will climb above the Modi Khola, the trail passes through forests of Bamboo, rhododendron and Oak. We descend to a long, steep stone staircase into deep bamboo. We will be staying at Bamboo.

Day 9
Trek from bamboo to Deurali (3230 m)
Early morning after breakfast, we will pass bamboo forests and reach Dovan. We will descend up to Hinku Cave. This is named as a huge overhanging rock provides some protection against rain and avalanches. We will then reach Deurali after 20 minutes. We will be staying at Deurali.

Day 10
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4170 m) via Machhapuchhre base camp
Early morning we continue our trail to Annapurna base camp. After short trek you will be at Bagar and trail continues until we reach Machhapuchhre base camp where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Himchuli, Annapurna south and many other peaks. We will then reach Annapurna base camp where you can see the views of several peaks at 360 degree. We will be staying at Annapurna base camp.

Day 11
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4130 M) to Annapurna South Base Camp(7219m)
Today we will head towards Annapurna south base camp which takes about five hours. We will pass through rocky glacier and you can enjoy beautiful views of Annapurna I, Fish tail etc. We will be staying at Annapurna south base camp.

Day 12
Trek from Annapurna South Base Camp to Himchuli High Camp (6440 M)
We will pass through rocky trail up to High camp. We will be staying at Camp.

Day 13
Himchuli High Camp (6440 m)
Today we will climb to Himchuli Camp I. At the summit you can have closer panoramic views of Annapurna I, Fish tail, Singu Chuli, Tent peak and many more. We will be staying at Himchuli Camp.

Day 14
Climb Himchuli Camp II(6440m)
On this day we will climb to Himchuli Camp II. On the way you can see the beautiful views of different peaks. We will be staying at Himchuli Camp II.

Day 15
Summit Himchuli Peak (6441m) and back to Himchuli Camp
We will return back to Camp II from Summit Himchuli Peak. We will be staying at Camp II.

Day 16
Back to Annapurna South Base Camp
We will climb down to Annapurna south base camp. We will be staying at Annapurna south base camp.

Day 17
Trek from Annapurna South Base camp to Annapurna Base camp
Today on this day we will return back to Annapurna base camp. We will be staying at Annapurna base camp.

Day 18
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630 m)
Early morning after breakfast we will trek to Dovan. We will be staying at Dovan

Day 19
Trek from Dovan to Jhinu Danda (1750 m)
We descent to Bamboo passing through forests with varieties of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar and now the trail is quite flat until you reach Sinuwa.Ttrek gradually descend to the Chhomrung Khola and you have to follow stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhomrung. The last part of the trail is steeply down to Jhinu Danda. From the town you should walk down for 20 minutes to reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. We will be staying at Jhinu Danda.

Day 20
Trek from Jhinu Danda to Pothana (1600 m)
Today we will descend through flat land until we reach Himal pani where you can find beautiful waterfall. After short trek you will be at Landruk – big village inhabited by Gurung, Magar, and Brahmin. We proceed steeply up to Deurali from where you can see the views of different mountain peaks. We then continue to Pothana through different oak forests. Pothana is a small town inhabited by Gurung. We will be staying at Pothana.

Day 21
Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi to Pokhara
We will descend to Dhumpus, a village inhabited by Gurung and it will take 3 hours to reach Dhampus from Pothana. We will then drive to Pokhara from Dhampus. We will be staying at Pokhara.

Day 22
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today we will drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara by private vehicle. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Mugling and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. you can also enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetables. We will then reach Kathmandu. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination.
