Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the Airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, we will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu City Tour
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and start a day with full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the old palace square. Next we will proceed to Swayambhunath temple- one of the oldest Buddhist Shrines .We will then processed to Visit Pashupatinath- the holiest Hindu temple and Boudhanath- one of the biggest and holiest stupa. After spending the early hours we’ll move towards Bhaktapur and Patan where you can explore living museum and palaces. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 3
Kathmandu to Lukla (2,800m/9184ft) and Phakding (2,652m/8,698ft)
We will take a flight to Lukla. After reaching Lukla you will be introduced to your guide and porter. We will then continue through Dudhkoshi Ghat. The trails follow the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until Phakding where you can enjoy your time.

Day 4
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft)
After breakfast, we will then head towards Namche Bazaar- the biggest Sherpa Village in Nepal. The trail goes over the Dudhkoshi River via suspension bridge and then through a beautiful pine forest to Monjo. We will approach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park for a brief permit check and then descend to Dudh Koshi River en route to Jorsale and continue uphill to Namche Bazaar with your first glimpse of Everest in its majesty.

Day 5
Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft)
Early morning we will hike above Namche for a incredible view of the Himalayas and great view of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. We will then continue to the Sherpa village of Khunde and Khumjung. After leaving Sherpa’s village we came back to Namche. We will be staying at Namche.

Day 6
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860 m/12,660 ft)
On this day we will trek to Phunki Thanga and we continue our trails towards Tengboche village – It is the largest monastery in the Everest region. You can even see the paranomic views of the highest mountains on earth including Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse and Lhotse. We will be staying at Tengboche.

Day 7
Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m / 14300 ft)
After breakfast we will walk down to lush forests and continue our trek Debouche with the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.we will then cross the Imja River to Pangboche. On the way you can see the Pangboche Monastery and we ultimately climb to Dingboche. We will be staying at Dingboche.

Day 8
Acclimatization and Rest
We spend a day at Dingboche for acclimatization. You can take a day hike to Nagarjun Hill for great views of Makalu, Lhotse, etc.

Day 9
Dingboche to Chhukung (4750 m/ 15,580 ft)
Early morning our trail passes through Imja Khola valley and from here us directly across the valley which is the fantastic Ama Dablam and the Amphu Labsa Mountains. We will then continue our walk for half an hour and reach Chhukung and walk towards Chhukung RI where you can see fantastic view of Ama Dablam and Amphu Labcha Peaks on the way. We descend back to Chhukung. We will be staying at Chhukung.

Day 10
Chhukung- Kongma La pass (5535 m/18,159 ft), Trek to Lobuche (4940 m /16,210 ft)
Early morning we trek to the Kongma La Pass which is the highest part of the entire trip. We can either trek to the Chhukung or we can walk back to Bibre. The trail continues to Lobuche through Khumbu Glacier. We will be staying at Lobuche.

Day 11
Lobuche to Gorak Sheep (5170 m/ 16961 ft)- Visit Everest Base Camp ( 5364 m/17,954 ft)
On this day, we will trek along the Khumbu Glacier. On the way you will see the Everest along with Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse and other mountains. We will then proceed to Gorak Sheep which is surrounded by Himalayas. After resting for a short while we continue towards Everest base camp followed by rocky dunes and streams. We trek back to Gorak sheep. We will be staying at Gorak sheep.

Day 12
Gorak Sheep to Kalapatthar (5545 m/18,192 ft), then to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft)
We will start our trek to Kalapatthar to catch the paranomic view of the first light of the sun shining on Mt. Everest. We will then continue to the familiar peaks like Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Everest etc. the view from Everest and Kalapatthar is incredible. We will be staying at Lobuche.

Day 13
Lobuche to Kongma La (5535 m/ 18159 ft) to Chhukung (4379 m/ 15518 ft)
After breakfast, we trek via Khumbu Glacier to Kongma La Base Camp. On the way you can see cairn wrapped in prayer flags to mark the pass. Then we descend gradually to Imja Khola valley, followed by another descent to Chhukung, a small summer settlement. After reaching Chhukung we will also check our equipment in order to get ready for our ultimate climb. We will be staying at Chhukung.

Day 14
Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200m/17,060ft)
On this day, we will trek to Island peak Base camp. We will then cross route through the Imja and Lhotse Glacier moraines leads to a wide valley .We will be staying at Island peak base camp.

Day 15
Island peak base camp to island peak summit (6,189 m/2, 0305 ft) back to Base camp
Today the trail moves to steep hillside and later turns to grass as we climb up the hill, we will see a steep rock channel. We will then steep into the Summit glacier. After pleasant walk we descend all the way to Island peak base camp. We will be staying at Base camp.

Day 16
Island peak base camp to Pangboche (3985 m/ 13074 ft)
We will descend through the wide valley of Khumbu khola. On the way we pass through the beautiful Sherpa villages. Orsho and Shomare. We can take a different trail to visit Gompa in upper Pangboche. We will be staying at Pangboche.

Day 17
Pangboche to Namche bazaar (3440 m/ 11286 ft)
On this day, we will trek back to Namche Bazaar from Pangboche. We will be staying at Namche Bazaar.

Day 18
Namche bazaar to Lukla (2800 m/ 9186 ft)
Early morning after breakfast, we will return back to Lukla from Namche Bazaar. We will be staying at Lukla.

Day 19
Lukla to Kathmandu
We will be having flight to Kathmandu in this day. You can have last minute shopping and collect souvenirs. You will be conveyed to hotel by our team waiting for you in Kathmandu airport. We will be staying at Kathmandu

Day 20
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination.
