Mera Peak is a tall mountain peak in Nepal, standing at 6,476 meters (21,247 feet). It is a popular climbing destination, but it’s a challenging climb that requires good physical condition and previous mountaineering experience.
The climb to Mera Peak takes around 18 days, and the route involves trekking through scenic valleys, forests, and villages before reaching the mountain’s base camp.

Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the Airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, we will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. We will be staying at Kathmandu.
Fly to Lukla (2840 m)
Early morning after breakfast, we will fly to Lukla. It will take 45 minutes with incredible views of Mountains. We will be staying at Lukla.
Lukla to Chuttanga (3050 m)
On this day we will take a short walk through forest to reach Chuttanga. We will be staying at chuttanga.
Chuttanga to Chattra (4100 m)
We start a morning with 4 hour ascent to pass of Chattra La. On the way you can see the beautiful views of Mountain.
Chattra to Kothe (3500 m)
Early morning the trail descends for about 5 hours through forest. we will then cross the river all the way to Kothe . You will get the first view of Mara Peak. We will be staying at Kothe.
Kothe to Thagnak (4300 m)
On this day, the trail follows the river to Thagnak. On the way you can see amazing views of Mera peak, Mera La Glacier. We will be staying at Thagnak.
Thagnak- Acclimatization day
Today is the Acclimatization day in Thagnak or if you are feeling good you could go for an acclimatization walk, or explore the village.
Thagnak to Khare (5000 m)
Today we will step towards to Khare. On the way you can see the amazing views of Mera Peak. We will be staying at Khare.
Khare – Rest day
Today we rest in Khare.
Khare to Mera La (5400 m)
Today we will walk for one hour and climb to Mera La. We will be staying at Mera La.
Mera La to High Camp (5800 m)
Today we will climb uphill to High camp. On the way you can see magnificent view of Mt. Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse etc. We will be staying at High Camp.
High Camp –Mera Peak – Khare (6461 m)
Early in the morning we start our summit with the ascent taking about 5 or 6 hours. The last 100 metres are a steep climb to the summit and then, there you are, standing on top of Mera Peak. On top of Mera Peak you will have magnificent views to the surrounding mountains. We will then return back down all the way to Khare. We will be staying at Khare.
Khare trek to Kothe (3500 m)
We will trek back to Kothe. We will be staying at kothe.
Kothe to Chattra (3800 m)
We will trek back to Chattra from Kothe. We will be staying at Chattra.
Chattra to Lukla
On this day, we will fly back to Lukla. We will be staying at Lukla.
Lukla to Kathmandu
We will be having flight to Kathmandu in this day. You can have last minute shopping and collect souvenirs. You will be conveyed to hotel by our team waiting for you in Kathmandu airport. We will be staying at Kathmandu
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination.
