Trip Overview
The Annapurna Circuit is a classic trekking route located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The complete circuit typically takes around 16 days, covering a distance of approximately 230 km. The trek starts from the lush lowlands of the Marsyangdi river valley and follows a gradual ascent through alpine forests, charming villages, and high mountain passes.
The trek offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges and takes you through diverse landscapes, including subtropical forests, arid desert-like terrain, and high-altitude plateaus. Along the way, you’ll come across culturally rich villages like Manang, where you can witness the traditional lifestyle of the local people.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, you will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. You will be staying in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu to Besisahar to Khudi (7 hours)
After breakfast, you will start the journey through the roads of Trisuli River, and after 3 hour drive, you will reach Mugling. You will then head towards Besisahar and half hour’s drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi- the starting point of the trek. You will be staying at Lodge.

Day 3
Khudi to Bahundanda
Our first-day trek starts from Khudi which involves a few suspension bridges, waterfalls, and subtropical forests. On the way to Bahundada, you can see the Tamang village Taranche. You will be staying at Bahundada.

Day 4
Bahundada to Chamje
On the second day, you will trek through villages and lush forests followed by Marsyangdi River and we will then reach Syange but after Syange the climb gets tougher up to Jagat. From there you will take a steep climb to Chamje. We will be staying at Chamje.

Day 5
Chamje to Dharapani
After breakfast, you will head towards the Manang region through fields of corn, barley, and potatoes and then through Bamboo and rhododendrons. You can see the village namely Tal which lies next to the sandy beach and river at the base of a large Waterfall. While hiking you may have to pass to a large group of caravans. You will be staying at Dharapani.

Day 6
Dharapani to Koto guide le vaneko Chame
On this day, you will proceed to Koto leaving Dharapani. On the way, you can see the beautiful views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. You will be staying at Koto.

Day 7
Chame to Pisang
You will cross through a suspension bridge as the trails open up we get surrounded by Himalayan peaks. We found ourselves in the U-shaped valley of Manang between two giant snow peaks. After walking few hours we will then reach Pisang. You will be staying at Pisang.

Day 8
Pisang to Manang sacred cave ( 1 hour) and then manang
Today you will trek to Manang - situated in the broad valley of the Marshyangdi River to the north of the Annapurna mountain range. You will be staying at Manang.

Day 9
Manang – Acclimatization day
On this day you will take a rest to prepare for further tiring trek with high Altitude. You can also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association to learn more about Mountain Sickness. You will be staying at Manang.

Day 10
Mannag to Yak Kharka
On this day, you will continue to climb out of the Marshyangdi valley to valley of jarsang Khola. The trail then goes through meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, the trail continues to an old ancient Mani wall and reaches another small village of Yak Kharka. You will be staying at Yak Kharka.

Day 11
Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi
You will head towards Thorung Phedi which is a small busy settlement for tired trekkers and climbers. Today we will take rest at Thorung Phedi to sleep rather than risky sleep in higher altitude in High Camp. You will be staying at Thorung Phedi.

Day 12
Thorung Phedi to Thorung La (5416 m) - Muktinath
Today you will reach the Annapurna Circuit crossing the Famous high pass, Thorung La. Upon setting sun we will be at Muktinath – an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhist. You will be staying at Muktinath.

Day 13
Muktinath to Jomsom
Early morning, after breakfast you will head towards Jomsom through Kali Gandaki River. You will be staying at Jomsom.

Day 14
Jomsom- Pokhara
After breakfast, you will head towards Pokhara by private transport. On the way back, you will take lunch. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free so you can visit the famous lakeside of Pokhara in the evening. You will be staying at Pokhara.

Day 15
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast, You will drive back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free so you have enough time for shopping and sightseeing. You will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 16
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination.
