Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimpu
Today upon arrival in Paro, you will transfer to Thimpu. You will then start your day with sightseeing around Thimpu which includes Tashicho Dzong –It is the main Government center with Kings’ throne room and you can visit Farmer’s market. You will then drive back to hotel and We will be staying at hotel.

Day 2
Thimpu – Punakha / Wangdue
Today you will start your full day with seightseeing of Thimpu’s cultural sites and monuments which include Memorial Chorten, traditional Art school or painting school, Indigenous hospital and Nunnery at Zilukha and you will short drive to a viewpoint for aerial view of the capital and its Suburbs. You can also visit many monasteries and temples. From here you will drive to Punakha and climb up to Dochula pass where you can get chance to view the peaks Himalayan mountain range. You will then descend to Wangdue/ Punakha valley where you can visit the monastery. From here you will drive back to hotel and We will be staying at hotel.

Day 3
Wangdue/ Punakha- Trongsa
Early morning after breakfast, you will take a short walk into the village and visit Chimi Lhakhang temple. You will then proceed to tour of Wangdue Phodrang and visit Trongsa in the evening. We will be staying at hotel.

Day 4
Trongsa- Bumthang
After visiting Trongsa town you will proceed to Bumthang passing through Yotong la pass . You can also visit Tamshing Lhakhang where you can see the Tamshing Lhendrup Chholing temple. You will then walk Kurjey Lhakhang via suspension bridge. After visiting Kurjey Lhakhang you will then short walk to Jambay Lhakhang. From here you will drive 10 minutes to visit Jakar Dzong and in the evening you can visit Bumthand valley. We will then drive back to hotel and We will be staying at hotel.

Day 5
Bumthang- Phobjikha
After breakfast, you will proceed to Phobjikha valley through Trongsa and Pelela pass. Phobjikha valley is a part of the beautiful Jigme singye wangchhuk national park which is also known as Black mountain national park- one of the Bhutan’s most important nature sanctuaries. Finally you will reach Phobjikha valley in the evening. We will be staying at hotel.

Day 6
Phobjikha sightseeing and drive to Thimpu
Early morning after breakfast, you will take a short hike from Gangtey Monastery along the Gangtey nature trail where you can enjoy the spectacular views of several villages in Phobjikha valley. You will then end your hike at Black Necked crane center. From here you will short walk to fields and farmhouses where you can get chance to interact with local peoples. You will then drive to Thimpu and you will be transfer to the hotel and you will start your day with seightseeing around Thimpu. You can visit National Memorial Chorten ( stupa) and there in the evening you will meet local peoples . We will be staying at hotel.

Day 7
Thimpu- Paro
On this day you will travel back to Paro. We will be staying at hotel.

Departure
In the morning, you will be transfer from hotel to the airport towards your destination.
