Chitwan is a recognised wildlife tourist attraction due to its excellent connection to culture and environment. Chitwan National Park, one of the best national parks in Asia, is renowned for its enormous animal diversity. It is pleasant to just relax around, watch the sunset, and see the elephant grass waving.
The Chepang culture is one of Nepal’s unique ethnic groups. The Chepangs practise Animism, while being greatly influenced by Buddhism and Hinduism, which officially started with the Tamang people. The other major ethnic groups in this region are the Tharu, Kumal Gurung, Satahar, Danuwar, Tharu, and Magar. It blends sightseeing opportunities with a cultural experience. Every guest will be served a meal that stands this culture distinct.
Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, a representative from Mountain Leaders will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, we will arrange for activities for the day. In the evening, you will enjoy the welcome dinner alongside a lovely cultural performance program. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu- Hugdi bazaar (3 hours)- Hattibang ( 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, we will drive to Hugdi for about 3hours and from here we will trek to Hattibang for 4- 5 hours. You will observe the beautiful cultural show and local handicraft in the evening. We will be staying at Hattibang.

Day 3
Hattibang to Jyandala (3-4 hours)
We will trek to Jyandala for about 3 -4 hours .On the way you can see beautiful local village and Himalayan range. Jyandala is inhabited by Chepang people. We will be staying at Jyandala.

Day 4
Jyandala –Siraichuli (1 hours) –Chisapanitar ( 4 hours) – Gadi( 2 hours)
After breakfast, we will trek to Siraichuli where you can observe the sunrise and sunset views. We will then continue to Chisapanitar which is famous for bird- watching site. More than 250 species of birds are found here. Finally we reach gadi after 2 hours walk where you can observe the historical fort. We will be staying at Chisapanitar.

Day 5
Gadi to Shaktikhor (3 hours)
On this day we will trek to Shaktikhor. You can experience unique culture in Chepang village or you can also observe Chepang museum, sinti waterfalls and sinti cave around Shaktikhor. We will be staying at Shaktikhor.

Day 6
Shaktikhor to Chitwan
On this day we will drive to Chitwan and transfer to Sauraha. You will reach late afternoon so you will have your lunch and visit to a nearby Tharu village. We will be staying at Sauraha Hotel.

Day 7
Chitwan National Park
Today after breakfast, you will visit to Chitwan National Park and you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. You can also go for Canoeing and visit elephant breeding site. After spending hours you will be back to resort through the Jungle. In the evening, you can observe Tharu cultural stick dance presentation by the local villagers. We will be staying at Sauraha Hotel.

Day 8
Chitwan to Kathmandu
After breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. After arrive in Kathmandu you're free to shop and pick up some last minute souvenirs, rest and visit the shop etc. We will be staying at Kathmandu.

Day 9
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, our representative from Mountain leaders will transfer you to the airport from where you will fly towards your next destination.
