Ama Yangri Trek is a beautiful and short trek destination in Nepal, nestled within a rural municipality of Dhading district. It is situated in Bagmati Province of Nepal. Trekkers typically complete the Ama Yangri trek in 3 days from Kathmandu. It’s a hidden treasure between two conservation areas: The Manaslu Conservation Area and the Langtang National Park.
One of the most enchanting aspects of Ama Yangri trek is its awe-inspiring vistas. In addition, trekkers are treated to majestic views of towering peaks such as the Ganesh Range, Lamjung Himal(6,800 m), Langtang Lirung(7,300 m), and the mighty Manaslu(8,113 m) from various points within the region.
Two amazing waterfalls called Ganga and Jamuna make the charm of Ama Yangri even greater. During the trek, watching the water flow down and hearing it gently splash on the rocks is a refreshing and beautiful sight.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival, our team representative will pick you up from Tribhuwan International Airport. You will be transferred to the hotel. After check in, take some rest for a while and you can spend rest of the day exploring the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. Later in the evening, enjoy your dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu to Timbu and Trek to Tarke Ghyang
After an early breakfast, you will drive from Kathmandu to Timbu. Depending upon road conditions and traffic jams, it will take 4-5 hours’ drive to reach Timbu. Upon reaching Timbu, your trek begins. You will trek around 5 hours passing through dense forest, charming villages and terraced fields until you reach Tarke Ghyang. This traditional Sherpa village offers a glimpse into the local way of life. In the evening, enjoy your dinner with local food. Overnight stay in Tarke Ghyang.

Day 3
Tarke Ghyang to Ama Yangri (4 hours)
This day, you will continue your trek towards Tarke Ghyang to the Spectacular Ama Yangri. You will ascend through rhododendron forests and walk through rugged terrain. After 4 hours of trek, you will reach Ama Yangri trek. When you get to the highest point, take a look around and see the amazing views of the Himalayan mountains all around. Take some time to really enjoy the stunning scenery before heading back down to Tarke Ghyang. That's where you'll spend the night, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.

Day 4
Back from Tarke Ghyang to Timbu and drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast in Tarke Ghyang, you will descent back towards Timbu. You will have lunch in Timbu and take a break from a while. After lunch, drive back to the capital city which takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll have the relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 5
Final Departure
After breakfast, you will have some leisure time to go for Shopping. As per your flight schedule, you will check- out from hotel, and our team representative will drop you at Tribhuwan International Airport.
