Bhutan, landlocked nation in south Asia located at the eastern end of the Himalaya Mountains and bordered to the south, east and west by India and to the north by China. It is separated from Nepal by the indian state of Sikkim. The Bhutanese call their country Druk Yul which means ‘ land of the Thunder Dragon’. The pristine ecology of Bhutan is home to rare and endangered flora and fauna.


Itinerary

Today upon arrival in Paro, you will transfer to Thimpu by our company representative and you will then start your day with sightseeing around Thimphu which includes Tashicho Dzong –It is the main Government center with Kings’ throne room and you can visit Farmer’s market. You will then drive back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Today you will start your full day with sightseeing of Thimphu's cultural sites and monuments which include Memorial Chorten, traditional Art school or painting school, Indigenous hospital and Nunnery at Zilukha and you will short drive to a viewpoint for aerial view of the capital and its Suburbs. You can also visit Takin Sanctuary , the National animal of Bhutan and also Giant Buddha Statue. You can visit temples and Monastery like Zangdopelri temple, Changangkha monastery and you can see Simtokha Dzong, crafts workshop and Textile museum. After spending hours you will drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Today you will drive to Punakha. You will climb up to Dochula pass where you can get chance to view the peaks of the eastern Himalayas. You will then descend to Wangdue/ Punakha valley. In the afternoon you will visit Punakha Dzong. From here you will drive to countryside and walk short distance uphill to Khamsum Chorten on Nyenzangang hill. We will drive back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Early morning after breakfast, you will take a short walk into the village and visit Chimi Lhakhang temple. you will then proceed to tour of Wangdue Phodrang and return back to Thimphu recrossing Dochula pass and from here you will short drive to paro. Overnight stay at hotel.

Today you will short drive to Drugyal Dzong , Ta Dzong, Rinphung Dzong fortress, Kichu Lhakhang temple , local farm house and also Dumtse Lhakhang temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, you will depart from Paro and arrive in Kathmandu.
