This circuit is the most popular trek of the Dolpa mainly because of the Shey Phoksundo lake. The route of Juphal-Dunai-Dho-Phoksundo-Dunai-Juphal is a 13 days long trek, passing through high Himalayan valley of Dho Tarap. |

Shey Gomba, located in northern part of Dolpo is usually called Upper Dolpo has an aura of mystical discussions of the region in peter Matheson's book the Leopard. Shey was closed to foreigners until 1992. For this trekking we need special permit. |

This is one of the most remote places in West Nepal. Trekking around the lower Dolpo region is quite peaceful and full of interesting sights, you can observe abundant of wildlife - blue sheep, muskdeer, snow leopards and sub alpine vegetation. This Trek starts from the dolpa and passes through high passes and finally ends at Jomsom. |

The route begins from Jomsom by meandering through pine and cedar forest with views of the huge Dhaualgiri range in the background. The entrance to Dolpo lies beyond the Jangla Bhanjyang Pass, (4500m). At the head of the valley lay snow-capped peaks and the deserted Tibetan plateau beyond. |
