Chandrashila Trek is one of the popular trek that can be undertaken round the year, in garhwal Himalayas except during heavy snowing months of December & January. Chandrashila summit is a rock face above the temple of Tungnath, the highest of all the temples in the Himalayas. It is a short but rigorous hike beyond the temple. The Chandrashila summit affords the most beautiful view of the Nandadevi, Trishul, Kedar Peak and Chaukhamba peaks.
Trekking Routes:Delhi / Rishikesh / Ukhimath / Deoriyatal / Ukhimath / Chopta / Tungnath / Chandrashila / Chopta / Ukhimath / Hardwar / Delhi Itinerary: DAY 01:Arrive Delhi : On arrival met at the airport and transfer to the Hotel. O/n stay at Hotel. DAY 02: Delhi/Rishikesh Morning transfer to the station time to cath train for hardwar. On arrival met at the station and transfer to the Hotel. Evening free to visit Rishikesh overnight in Rishikesh. DAY 03: Rishikesh/Ukhimath On day 3 of Chandrashila Trek, we drive to Ukhimath 180 kms with hot lunch en route. Dinner & overnight in Ukhimath. DAY 04:Ukhimath- Deoriyatal- Ukhimath 8 kms trek to Deoriyatal with packed lunch. Return trek in the afternoon to Ukhimath. Dinner & overnight in Ukhimath. DAY 05: Chopta On day 5 of Chandrashila Trek, we again drive for 35 kms to reach Chopta with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Chopta. DAY 06: Chopta -Tungnath –Chandrashila-Chopta 5 kms trek to Chandrashila via Tungnath. Return trek to Chopta. Dinner & overnight in Chopta. DAY 07Chopta-Ukhimath Local sightseeing. In the afternoon 35 kms drive to Ukhimath. Dinner & overnight in Ukhimath. DAY 08: Ukhimath – Hardwar-Delhi, 210 kms drive to Hardwar . Lunch en route. On arrival transfer to the station time to catch train for delhi. On arrival at Delhi met at the station and transfer to the hotel. O/N stay at hotel.
