The famous temple of Lord Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang and is situated about 18 kms northeast of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3800 meter. It is believed that all miseries / sorrows are relieved once you visit this temple (Mukti = Nirvana or status of Liberty / Free, Nath = God).
Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhist. The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. In the walls around the temple are 108 waterspouts. The Jwala Mai Temple near has a spring and eternal flame fed by natural gas. It is believed that one should visit this temple after completing Pilgrimage of four special religions sites in India . That's “Chardham Yatra”. The serenity of the place really soothes your bird and beckons you into spiritualistic journey. You will enjoy panoramic views all around. |

Access:
There are three ways to get to Muktinath from either take a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (30 minutes) and hike for 7-8 hours from Jomsom or trek all the way from Pokhara through Kali-Gandaki valley, which takes 7/8 days or by helicopter. Helicopter flies both from Kathmandu and Pokhara. From Kathmandu it takes about 1015 hours to reach Kathmandu and from Pokhara it only takes 45 minutes. By Helicopter to visit Muktinath on the month of March to October is suitable. By treks to visit on the month of April to October is preferable |

Season:
The best time to visit Muktinath are March, April & October. Despite being cold in November and February, still you can travel. December and January are chill cold and snow fall season. June to September is rainy months. As the weather conditions would not be safe enough to travel in Cold season &. rainy months |

Clothing:
We suggest you to take normal warm clothes. Light warm jacket, woolen sweater, warm T-Shirts, comfortable shoes, trousers and cotton pants are enough for this trip. |

Accomodation:
There is enough Hotels and lodges in Jomsom and Muktinath. Some Hotels have solar heated hot showers and provide rooms with attached bath. Also local restaurant are available there. They provide good food. For Hindu pilgrims there are also free Dharamsalas . |

| Muktinath Darshan/Yatra by Helicopter (4 Night 5 Days) |
| Day 01: |
Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, welcome dinner in the evening. |
| Day 02: |
Early morning sightseeing tour to Pashupati temple or aarti and back to the hotel
for breakfast. After noon on the way Manakamana Darshan by Cable car after drive to Pokhara.
Overnight stay at Hotel. |
Day 03: |
Morning fly to Muktinath by Helicopter. After Holy bath and puja back to Pokhara free time for rest. |
Day 04: |
After breakfast go for Pokhara city sight seeing place to visit Bindhabasini Temple, Seti River gorge, Gorkha Museum, Devi's waterfall, Mahadev Cave and visit the Barahi Temple by boat ride in Fewa Lake, Evening leisure and overnight. |
