During the Arun valley trek we can enjoy spectacular views of the Mt. Everest as well as Mt. Makalu. Arun valley, a wonderful trekking area in Nepal, is located in between Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu and is very suitable for those tourists who want to explore the natural beauty, without experiencing too much crowd. This trek is very rich in its flora and fauna. The most fascinating thing about this trail is that from here, one can also approach to the Khumbu region.

The Arun Valley trek is a trek which requires good physical health and a body that is able to walk longer distances. Because we will cross quite tough points, it is recommended that you are trained and in good condition when starting this trek. We will take time to adapt to higher altitudes on a regular basis, to prevent you from facing any difficulties during this travel. This trek is graded as a strenuous trek.

Day 1: Flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar. Overnight stay in Tumlingtar.

Day 2: Trek from Tumlingtar to Katike Ghat. Overnight stay in Katike Ghat.

Day 3: Trek from Katike Ghat to Ghothe Bazaar. Overnight stay in Ghothe Bazaar.

Day 4: Trek from Gothe Bazaar to Salpa Phedi. Overnight stay in Salpa Phedi.

Day 5: Trek from Salpa Phedi to Ghorase. Overnight stay in Ghorase.

Day 6: Trek from Ghorase to Guidel. Overnight stay in Guidel.

Day 7: Trek from Guidel to Khiraule. Overnight stay in Khiraule.

Day 8: Trek from Khiraule to Cholam. Overnight stay in Cholam.

Day 9: Trek from Cholam to Khola Kharka. Overnight stay in Khola Kharka.

Day 10: Trek from Khola Kharka to Mosom Kharka. Overnight stay in Mosom Kharka.

Day 11: Trek from Mosom Kharka to Thangna. Overnight stay in Thangna.

Day 12: Trek from Thangna to Khare Base Camp. Overnight stay in Khare Base Camp.

Day 13: Day of rest in Khare Base Camp.

Day 14: Trek from Khare Base Camp to Mera High Camp. Overnight stay in Mera High Camp.

Day 15: Today we summit Mt. Mera. After that we trek back to Khare. Overnight stay in Khare.

Day 16: Trek from Khare to Kothe. Overnight stay in Kothe.

Day 17: Trek from Kothe to Chatrabu. Overnight stay in Chatrabu.

Day 18: Trek from Chatrabu to Lukla. Overnight stay in Lukla.

Day 19: Flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu.
