Peak Climbing: Stok Kangri

Stok Khangri (6150m) is the one of the known peaks of Stok Khangri Massif in the Zanskar Mountains for climbing. This is absolutely a non-technical climb. On favorable conditions, you can make the summit and return in one day from the base camp and have the pride of conquering a peak more than 6000m. Being near from Leh, this peak has been very popular amongst those trekkers who want to try something real high. It offers the most spectacular perspective to the central expanse of the Indus Valley , which it dominates.

It does not require you to be a trained and experienced climber. Excellent chance to start climbing with this above 6000m peak. Climbing Stok Kangri does not require any Himalayan climbing experience. If you have trekked in Himalayas before -you can climb this peak which lies in most scenic places of ladakh. Itinerary

DAY 01: Arrival in Delhi. Meet the guide at the airport and transfer to hotel.
DAY 02: Flight to Leh
DAY 03-04: Aclimatization in Leh and sightseeing of monasteries and palaces of Leh and around.
DAY 05: Leh-Stok Village
DAY 06: Trek to Lamlung.Camp
DAY 07: Trek to Stok BC .
DAY 08: Rest at BC for acclimatization
DAY 09: Attempt summit of the Stok Khangri peak.
DAY 10: Trek to Rumbuk
DAY 11: Treks to Spituk
DAY 12: Back to Leh
DAY 13: Extra day in Leh
DAY 14: Flight to Delhi.
DAY 15 Transfer to airport for flight back home.
