Langtang Valley Trek
Description
Langtang valley lies closer to Kathmandu valley and is less used for trekking purpose. Langtang valley is also called 'Valley of Glaciers'. The valley offers pine forests, slow moving rivers, swift mountain streams, rugged rocks, snow capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primulas. In the upper part of Langtang there are snow ridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in misty tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountain giants.
