The Langtang region lies north of captical city Kathmandu and is bordering to China (Tibet). It is protected as Langtang National Park and has a number of high peaks including the Langtang Lirung, which is 7246 m high. Trekking in Langtang offers you a diversity of trails, from easy to strenous. Langtang region treks are popular among trekking lovers all over the world. It is sometimes considered more favorable, because travelers don't have to depend on any flight: we will drive from kathmandu and back. About 4000 people live inside Langtang National Park. The local people, mainly Tamang, depend on the surrounding for timber and firewood. The park contains the Gosainkunda lakes, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists. Pilgrimages are made to this place in August. Another spiritual site is the Buddhist monastery Kyanjin Gompa. The trekking in this region offers pine forest, swift mountains streams, rugged rock and snow-caped peaks, grassy down with daises and wild animals. For these reasons, Langtang is beautiful and interesting in both cultural and natural way.

Ganja La Pass Trek (11 days) The Ganja La pass trek starts from Sybrubesi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybrubesi you follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyangjin Gompa. Langtang - Gosaikunda Trek (15 days) Langtang Gosaikunda was considered the 'hidden valley', a place of refuge, and it remains a well-kept secret.
