Chitwan National Park

rhinoChitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia and is listed as World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. The park is home to more than 400 endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros and to the largest populatin of the elusive and rare Bengal tiger. Other animals like deer, leopards, langur, sloth bears, wild boars, monkeys, wild dogs and gaurs can also be found here. Rare reptiles like Gharial and Marsh Magar crocodiles are living around the riverbanks in the park. Wildlife safari in Chitwan is an adventurous and beautiful experience that you should have done at least once in your life. While you walk or drive through the jungle, you hear the different tropical bird-sounds, smell the grass and look for monkeys in trees, a rhino in the fields or one of the other animals that can be seen. This all creates the wonderful and exciting feeling of truly being in wild nature. On the back of an elephant, you get the outstanding chance to come on very close distance with the most impressive wild animals. These animals feel the presence of the elephant as natural and harmless, which makes getting close quite easy and very special to experience. We are more than happy to share this unforgettable side of Nepal with you, because nature in its pure form is so beautiful and important. We provide programs that you can book, which give a good impression of this wildlife area. Also culturally it is interesting to explore Chitwan: the Tharu people, who lived in this area for centuries, are open to show more about their lifestyle and special traditions, like dancing with a stick.  If you would like to stay longer or have special requests, please contact us so we can inform you about the possibilities and help you plan your trip.

Bardia National Park

tigers Bardia National Park, situated in western terai of Nepal, is one of largest undisturbed parks in the region. The park is the home of many endangered mammals, reptiles and birds, including the elusive Tiger. A few years ago, several one horned rhinos where translocated to this park from Chitwan National Park. Bardia is quite a good place for tiger viewing, which is mostly a very rare event. Recently, views of a group of wild elephants have further enhanced the wildlife experience that is possible in this beautiful and unspoiled sanctuary. A stay in this park can be combined with a rafting trip down the Karnali and the Bheri river or with a trek to Dolpo, Rara Lake or Humla in far west of Nepal.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

birdsThe Koshi Tappu and the Koshi Barrage in the east of Nepal, provide some of the best places in the country to view migratory water fowl, waders and shore birds during the winter months. Many species not recorded elsewhere in the region have been seen here. Thousands of birds congregate here in January and February, before they migrate north when the warm weather begins. Well qualified nature guides take our guests out on nature walks, jeep drives and boat rides to look for birds and other animals like the wild buffalo, that can only be found in this place in Nepal. It is possible to combine this tour with a Sun Koshi rafting trip or with a trekking in the eastern hills. A journey to Darjeeling or Sikkim in India from here is also one of the possibilities.
