Situated at an elevation of 6500 feet above the sea-level and 25 kilometers away from Kathmandu, is the hilly Kakani area, famous for plenty of terraced fields. Short treks are possible to and from Kakani. The fabulous holiday area of Kakani features enchanting attractions ranging from the beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan panorama, especially of the Ganesh Himal.

Day 1: Hike from Kathmandu to Kakani. Overnight stay in Kakani.


Day 2: Hike from Kakani to Ale Danda. Overnight stay in Ale Danda.

Day 3: Hike from Ale Danda to Shivapuri. Overnight stay in Shivapuri.

Day 4: Hike from Shivapuri to Dhap. Overnight stay in Dhap.

Day 5: Hike from Dhap to Nagarkot. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.

Day 6: Hike from Nagarkot to Sankhu. Then drive back to Kathmandu .
