What is hiking?
Hiking is a form of walking with the purpose of exploring and enjoying the scenery and natural wilderness. Hiking takes place on trails in rural or wilderness areas and it is considered shorter than trekking. Most hikes last a few days, up to the maximum of a week, while trekking often lasts several weeks.
