Mountain Leader

Bumthang is well known as one of the main cultural centres of Bhutan and there are many opportunities to visit temples and small Bhutanese villages along the trek route. Although the trek is on the easy side, it involves a few major climbs like the one up to Pephe La with an ascent of about 500 m.
This is a trek in the splendid Bumthang Valley, the cultural heart of Bhutan. The trek passes through several villages on its meandering route through Bumthang countryside. This trek provides an exceptional opportunity for contact with Bhutanese rural life besides the nature.


Itinerary:
DAY 01:-Arrive at Paro and Drive to Thimpu. ( Flights to Bhutan are available from Bangkok, Kathmandu and New Delhi.)
DAY 02: -Full day sightseeing in Thimpu. Hotel.
DAY 03: -Drive Thimpu to Trongsa. Hotel.
DAY 04:-Drive Trongsa to Bumthang. Hotel.
DAY 05: -Full day sightseeing of Bumthang valley. Hotel.
DAY 06: -Start trek to Nanglakhang.
DAY 07-Continue trek to Ugencholing.
DAY 08: -End trek at Mambertsho Lake. Drive to Jakar. Camps/Hotel.
DAY 09:-Drive Bumthang to Pukakha. Hotel.
DAY 10:-Drive to Thimpu and Paro. Hotel.
DAY 11: -Paro valley sightseeing and hike to Taksang - Tiger's Nest. Hotel.
DAY 12: -Departure.
