The Annapurna region is one of the most famous trekking area in the world. This region is under supervision of  the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). A few of the well-known places are for example Jomsom, Manang, Dolpa, Annapurna Sanctuary, Kagbeni, Tatopani, and Tilicho Lake. Approximately two-third of the trekkers who come to Nepal, visit the Annapurna region. The area is easily accessible, there are plenty of lodges and guest houses in the hills and the treks here provide a wonderful view on both high mountains and lowland villages. This location offers trekkings from easy up to strenuous walks. If you are a first time trekker, Annapurna region will be a great place for you to begin an easy trek and have a good view on what nature has to offer. However, also experienced trekkers will without a doubt be impressed by this beautiful part of Nepal with its outstanding environment. Each trek can be done in many ways: long routes can be taken to enjoy the scenery and Nepalese villages, but there are also many options to take shortcuts, for those who are interested to only visit specific parts without spending too much time. For each Annapurna destination, we created one or two itineraries to give a good example of the trail that could be taken and the highlights on this route. You can choose to book one of the treks that we displayed or ask us for more information if you prefer to take a trek in any other way. There are many options to walk the area. Certain overnight places, different routes, parts that you would like to skip or see: it possible to make personal choices about all these details. Tea-house trekking is the most common way to travel through Annapurna area. Villages in this region provide lodges, guesthouses and restaurants which make it very easy to have lunch on the way and stay overnight. In some places it is also possible to camp, if you like, although this might require bringing camping gear. The itineraries that we give here, are in the first instance based on tea-house trekking.
