Imagine a ride through lush green rice fields, through hamlets, up and down the hillside, along the riverbank, around temples, past the street roaming cattle, along the highway.. you name it! Through snow, monsoon downpour, wonderful light effects or fierce head winds, depending on place and season. The adventurous souls may plan extended trips to exotic locations as Tibet, Namche Bazaar and western Nepal. It is possible to make a trip for one day or travel even the whole length of Nepal by mountainbike. What you can or cannot do on mountain bike is limited only by your imagination. Annapurna


In Annapurna region, you pass through a variety of different landscapes, from lush sub-tropical rainforest, deep valleys and cultivated fields, to wooded alpine and high desert. It is possible to visit many different villages, to meet the local hill tribes and to enjoy frequent spectacular views of massive Himalayan peaks. If you have time and like a challenge, journeys can be made through a difficult pass or towards the impressive Tilicho lake.

Kathmandu

 

While mountain biking in and around Kathmandu, you will be able to explore a lot of culture, but also impressive nature surrounding the busy capital. All the popular buildings of Kathmandu can be seen ofcourse: temples, stupa and other historical places. In the hilly area around Kathmandu, you can discover beautiful nature and mountains, in places like Nagarkot. Small villages and interesting temples can also be found in this surrounding. If you have time to go on a mountain bike trip for a few days: there is enough to experience and see in Kathmandu area!


Western Nepal


Mountain biking through the west of Nepal offers imaginable combinations with for example jungle activities and boating in the superb Phewa Lake. Spectacular views on the Annapurna range and the mighty Fishtail mountain can also be part of the journey in this area. You can make your trip here very alternate and enjoyable!

Pokhara


Mountain biking in and around Pokhara offers one of the most exciting experiences. You will meet natural beauty, breathtaking mountain views, picturesque villages, culture, gently rolling chains of hills with terraced fields of rice, subtropical forests and the unique outline of the Himalayas in this region. Take a few days to discover it all or make a one-day trip through this beautiful part of Nepal.
