Keshav Pandey

Keshav was born by the lap of the lush mid hills of Nepal and was brought up in one of the finest and famous wildlife sanctuaries in Asia, Chitwan National Park. He commenced his career as a front office manager in one of the Safari Resorts in Sauraha which he handled later as an operation manager in Chitwan and he completed the training on Front Office as well. He worked and put so much effort to his work to gain a great deal of knowledge in a very short period of time. He completed the Nature Guide Training conducted jointly by the then King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation and Royal Chitwan National Park. No one has explored Chitwan National Park better than him.
Keshav was offered a job for the post of a tour leader by a European tour company and moved to Kathmandu in 1993 to promote his skills to bring it out on a broader scale. He got the opportunities to travel widely around South Asia while leading tours which helped him to gain an enormous knowledge in tourism.  
With the idea of offering experience and knowledge he gained, he determined to dedicate his way of life in tourism permanently, established a joint venture with his colleagues,” Unique Wild Resort” in Chitwan and a year later “Mountain Leaders Treks” in September 2000.He has not only involved in tourism as a profession but also is spiritually devoted and dedicated in social development works. He has conducted numerous social oriented programs through out the country.
He is affiliated to various prestigious organizations to state- Lions Club International, Red Cross Society of Nepal, Trekking Agents Association and Hotel Associations of Nepal, Community Help Centre Nepal, Bird Education Society and Bird Conservation Nepal.
He is also supporting different organizations like Netherlands Oral Health Society (NOHS), Woman for Woman, Medora Foundations and Stichting Tandheelkunde voor Nepal (STVN) and Dental Aid to Nepal to achieve their objects in Nepal.
Keshav has also traveled Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark Sweden, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria and Hungary.

Dennis Evers
Director- Marketing and Promotion

Dennis is an experienced IT consultant who has been working in IT since 1998.During these years he got broad experience in different fields of IT and has worked in several complex environments. Among others he is expert in system integration, application management, software development and server based computing.
At start of his career Dennis mostly worked as a system engineer installing and maintaining NT and NT/UNIX environment.
After finishing his education in 2004 Dennis made his first steps in Nepal as a volunteer. He teached English Language at a local school in Nawalparasi in the south of Nepal. During his stay he fell in Love, not only with Nepal, but with Mona, his current wife, as well.
After returning to the Netherlands in 2005 he couldn't get used to living in the Netherlands again. So in 2007 he decided to leave his home and job to start a new live in Nepal.
In Nepal he joined the Mountain Leaders team. Besides Mountain Leaders he is also running an  IT company.

Gokul a resident from Chitwan born in 1978 is Mountain Leaders' one of the most dedicated trekking guide leading its many treks and tours program. He started his career in tourism sector as a nature guide in the Chitwan National Park for more than five years. Due to his strong desire to work in Mountain Tourism (Trekking) he joined our company as a porter but it only took him some years to become a guide from the porter because of his deep interest and enthusiasm in the sector. He has lead many of our guests for trekking and the guests is not only happy after seeing the natural beauty but also because of Go-cool (as our guests call him)

Rajendra, Born in Mid-hill of Nepal , and later moved to Southern part of the country, Chitwan he completed his high school from Chitwan. Right after the completion of his high school he started his service in Mountain Leaders. He is one of our young and enthusiastic guides. He is always liked by the trekkers because of his calm behavior and always smiling and ready to serve at anytime. He has so far trekked in major trekking regions of Nepal. He is a very down to earth human being and is always concerned about our guests while they are in trekking and he always keeps our guests in a good mood.

Dhana Prasad Well known amongst the trekkers as nickname “Thagu”, his real name is Dhana Prasad Gurung. Born in 1954 in the lap of Annapurna near from the trekkers' hub Pokhara, he is a very well experienced name to the sector. Starting his profession in tourism sector in 1987 as a porter, he continue this for 10 years until he was granted the trekking guide license by the department of tourism, Kathmandu, Nepal.

He is associated with us since the beginning of Company establishment. He is one of the very experienced, enthusiastic trekking guides of Mountain Leaders. He has led the trekkers in various trekking regions of Nepal including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang region.

Mr. Ram SinghTamang
Cook & Trekking Guide

Ram Singh, simply “Ramsingh” a professional name in the trekking especially in camping trekking as a professional cook has so far performed his job as a cook and a guide in almost all trekking sectors and regions of Nepal including with Tibet as a plus point. Born in 1964 in the remote land of the country in Langtang region, he started his profession as a porter and assistant cook in 1985. Since the establishment of Mountain Leaders he has served our full camping organized trekking groups as a cook. He makes delicious food and he prepares in local taste and many tourists have liked his preparation.
